Recent shoots

This weekend I had the pleasure of taking some pictures of a football player or two, and a family of 3 children + one friend. It was so hot out on the football field with this guy.. After several days at football camp, he was ready to go home. By the time I got his photos, we were both tired hot and sweaty. I am telling you. This fella is such a good sport. As tired as he was, he still managed to smile.

After I finished up with Mikey, I went downtown and met a friend of mine and her three kids. I jumped in her car, and we just stopped anywhere that looked interesting. She thought I was nuts at some of the places we stopped, but oh well... The pictures speak for themselves.

While we were in an alley, their dad pulled up on his Harley, and I jumped at the opportunity to use that as a prop. The kids were so much fun, by the time we were done, we had all had a blast!!

This is their oldest daughter. She has always been very easy to photograph. She is a natural! The youngest daughter is just a mess. She had me take pictures of her Angry EYE, and that was just hysterical. Their son, did not want to have his picture made at all... Until he got there. Then I think he loosened up and had fun too!!!

Nature pics

I love to take outdoor pictures, especially this time of year when the crops are growing, and again in the fall when the leaves are turning. I have taken some of the kids in the cotton, and wheat (before it gets to tall) and in the fallen leaves.. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.. My next venture is a sunflower field!!! I am soo excited I can hardly wait!!! Here are some of my past favorites.

Five for Friday

Yesterday was the yearbook signing party for the 5th graders at our school. These are some of the pics from the day! Don't worry Carmen, I took a lot more. 89 to be exact. I had to stop taking pictures of one child, she was beginning to think I was stalking her. BUT, I had her mom's instructions to take pictures of her AND to make sure she got her cookie. Mission Accomplished!

AND--- I did take some pictures of the adults at the party. However, I cannot post them for fear of my life.. (There were some pretty bad ones in there)

Prom Pictures

I had the opportunity to take LOTS of prom pictures this weekend! Between the two couples, I took over 300 pictures! Both of the couples were just beautiful, and I enjoyed spending some time with all of them. Even if it was HOT for the first one and thundering during the second one! Typical weather for this time of year I guess.
Anyway, here are a few of my favorites!

Unforgettable moments

When a friend calls and says her almost 6 year old son has caught a 20 pound cat fish and wants you to come take a picture, you do it! I will admit, I thought that she was exaggerating a little. I thought to myself, there was no way he caught an 20 pound catfish in the pond behind their house. Anyway, I was wrong.. BOY, was I wrong. I am glad I took the pictures, because I never would have believed them otherwise.

Like I said, I have been fascinated with photography for a few years now. This one, I took with my 35mm film camera several years ago while on vacation.
